Collage New Music has a rich history of programming innovative music written by the composition masters of our time. Entering our 51st Season, we are excited to continue bringing forth new works by both the reining leaders of composition, as well as young emerging composers, to the greater Boston area.

Collage New Music’s New Artistic Director

Eric Nathan has been appointed Artistic Director of Collage New Music, Boston’s longest-standing contemporary music ensemble, now in its 51st season. Beginning in the 2024-25 season, Nathan will oversee all of Collage New Music’s artistic planning and programming, conduct the ensemble, commission new works, select annual guest conductors and guest soloists, and envision new local and national partnerships. Nathan has designed and appointed an Artistic Advisory Panel that includes Tony Arnold, Matthew Aucoin, Marcos Balter, Anthony Cheung, Tania León, and Joan Tower. Read more here.
