The season ends with a bang! The first half of the concert includes the premiere of Islands on Fog by our brilliant Collage Fellow Joseph Sowa and Stephen Hartke's substantial Wulfstan at the Millenium. For the second half, Collage will perform the John Harbison's Mottetti de Montale for mezzo-soprano and ensemble in its entirety. In 2005, Collage New Music recorded the entire work that was composed over a span of 20 years. This album received many accolades, including a Grammy nomination. In this performance, Collage will be joined by mezzo-soprano, Simone Mcintosh. Harbison will join us for a pre-concert talk to discuss this beautiful and now highly lauded work.
